Comparing Beckham to Bobby Moore is an insult. Adults Only

David Beckham last night equalled Bobby Moore's record of England caps and the press are all comparing the two. That is nothing but an insult to Bobby Moore.

Firstly he played over 1000 more minutes, eleven whole games, more than Beckham who has got many of his caps coming on for the last couple of minutes. Secondly Bobby helped us win a world cup. Beckam, by acting like a spoilt child and getting sent off against Argentina and persistently declaring himself fit for tornaments when he clearly wasn't helped lose us world cups. Bobby put England first, Becks put his bank balance first.

Then there is the fact that David Beckham takes millions of pounds in sponsership from sports companies, money he doesn't need and can never possibly spend, while ignoring the fact that whist he is taking these millions the people who work for these companies get paid a pittance, work 12 hour days without breaks and live in poverty, in many cases not being able to feed their families.

Finally if Bobby Moore had have married a talentless bimbo he would have put his foot down and stopped her from inflicting her out of tune screeching on the rest of us.

Comparing the great Bobby Moore, a real man, with this overpaid prima donna is nothing but an insult to Bobby Moore.

Footballs biggest hypocrit?

Last night Victims r us, otherwise known as Liverpool, got an equaliser in the fourth minute of injury time thanks to a blatant dive from Steven Gerrard. It's bad enough that they have got away with cheating in the Champions League yet again but the worse bit is the way steven gerrard uses every opportunity to complain about diving when he and the spanish wimp Torres are the worst offenders!

Did you see Victims R Us?

Did you see Victims R Us, also known as Liverpool FC, on TV last night? They were in the qualifying round of the Champions League, playing in front of 40,000 benefit fraudsters at Anfield. And they were rubbish! They were playing against some team from Belguim that would struggle in our second division and finally won with a goal in the twenty seventh minute of extra time.

Their Spanish manager had already made exuses in advance, claiming that Steven Gerrard was tired. Tired after 3 games and four and a half hours work! They build these scousers tough don't they! I heard they will be playing in pink in future. Mind you four and a half hours work is more than most of them in the crowd have ever done.

Anyway one good thing came out of it. Steven Gerrard went home and shagged his wife to celebrate. Unfortunately for him she woke up and he now has a groin strain. This means he won't be fit for Englands World Cup qualifying matches so the Italian Tax Dodger in charge can't pick both him and Fat Frank Lampard. Which means we might have a chance.

Last night England's so called football team played a friendly against the Czech Republic at Wembley. And, as usual, they were hopeless. As usual the manager will get the blame but we keep changing the manager but whoever is in charge the result is the same. A team that just cannot play football or just can't be bothered to play football.

The players we had on the pitch all have three things in common. They all play for topclass football clubs. They all earn obscene amounts of money for doing very little and they are all incapable of playing in an England shirt.

So surely it is now time for a change? We could start with the manager. An England team needs an English manager not an Italian tax dodger. Harry Redknapp would be the perfect choice. He may not have won any major competitions but the results he acheives at small clubs with very little money speak for themselves.

Then we should kick out the so called stars. Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, John Terry etc should all be told that their England careers are over and they should be replaced with people who want to play for England and whose minds are on the game and not on how they are going to spend the huge amounts of money they earn.

Until this overpaid, lazy, self centered bunch of parasites are shown the door then the England football team will never win anything.

Despite it being our national sport I dont usually mention football on this site. I am a West Ham supporter which means there isn't usually that much for me to write about.

However on Tuesday there is the first of two games which will decide if footballs biggest competition is discredited forever. I am talking about the Champions League semi-final between Liverpool and Chelsea.

Because of the speed and nature of the modern game referees often make mistakes and it is not unusual for big games to be decided by refereeing errors rather than by the players themselves. However the referees in the Champions League have taken this to ridiculous levels.

In short Liverpool should not be in the semi final. They should not even have been in the quarter final. The only reason they are playing chelsea on tuesday at all is because dodgy refereeing decisions have decide their last four games in the Champions League! Thats right, on four occasions in a row the referee has made a mistake that has kept Liverpool in the competition.

Should Chelsea not now knock Liverpool out of the competition then the Champions League Final becomes a farce and the whole competition becomes completely discredited.

So Chelsea must win for justice and fair play to prevail.
