An apology.

In the tags at the bottom of each post you may have noticed that islam and muslim both have capital letters. This is not an error on my part but something that can't be helped because of the way this website works, all the tags get capital letters.

Using a capital letter for words such as muslim, islam, Christian etc is a mark of respect, which is why I will never knowingly use one in connection with the religous cult of islam.

And I would like to apologise on Bloggers behalf to anybody offended by the use of capital letters for islam and muslim in the tags.

Once again the members of the religious cult of islam are on the war path. This time because of a film. The Dutch politician, Freedom Party leader Geert Wilders, is set to release a film this month that, according to muslims, insults islam and the koran.

But if it does then so what?

The one thing this so called "tolerant" cult cannot get their heads round is that the Western World is not only predominantly Christian but that we also enjoy a priviledge called Freedom of Speech!

We have the right to our own opinions, we have the right to express them and we have the right to mock, insult or critisize anything we don't agree with, including what a lot of us consider to be evil, intolerant religious cults.

Threatening violence everytime somebody dares to criticize islam just confirms what we already think. That islam is a cult based on violence, intolerance and threats, and has no place in a civilised society.

And before I get complaints that I haven't used capital letters for islam, muslim and the koran I will point out that I have used lower case deliberately. Using capitals is a sign of respect and until muslims grow up and accept our laws, our way of life and our freedom of speech then I have no respect for them or their religous cult whatsoever.
