The Swimming competition

A brunette, a redhead and a blonde are in a breast stroke race. The starter's gun goes off and the three girls dive into the pool. The brunette and the redhead shoot across the pool and get out; 20 minutes later the blonde reaches the end and gets out. The judge says, "The gold medal goes to the brunette, the silver medal goes to the redhead, and the bronze goes to the blonde". The blonde says, "I don't want to be a sore loser, but I think the other girls were using their arms."

New Mitsubishi EVO

The Jag might be quick, and comfortable, and handle like a dream, but for the ultimate in low cost performance you need look no further than Mitsubishi. The new EVO VIII MR FQ-340 is billed as the fastest standard four door production saloon ever offered by a mainstream manufacturer.

This car is a flying machine! It's four cylinder 340bhp turbo charged engine gets it from 0-60mph in 4.4 seconds, with a top speed limited to 157mph! It features new extra light alloy wheels and now has an aluminum roof as well as the bonnet which apparently lowers the centre of gravity and makes it handle even better than previous models.

Click here to read a full road test or here to go to the Mitsubishi site and order one. Yours for just under £33,000! Bargain!

Jaguar S-TYPE R

When I was a kid my dad always used to have Jags and I used to love them. Big cars with plenty of room, big engines and the glorious smell of leather when you opened the doors. I used to sit behind the wheel looking at the 150mph Smiths speedo, imagining what it would be like to drive one, once I could reach the pedals!

He had a few of them. Mark 8 and 9's, a Mark 10, three Mark 1's and several Mark 2's. The car today that most reminds me of those old style Jags is the S-Type and the ultimate version of these has to be the S-Type R with it's 4.2 litre V8 supercharged engine kicking out 400 brake horse and giving almost unlimited torque.

Combine this with a modern 6 speed autobox, a fine handling chassis and an awesome exhaust note and you have a car to die for. Now where can I get £50,000 from?
