Sorry to go back to this but those idiots on the forums have given me the hump. Do they actually know what a petrol tanker driver does? Shall we have a look?
Well firstly they have to be able to drive one of the most difficult vehicles in the world there is to drive. An articulated lorry. They then fill it with one of the most flammable, volotile substances there is, petrol.
They then take this 40 tonne mobile bomb and drive it through some of the most densly populated cities in the world. The stuff they are carrying is worth a fortune so there is always the risk of it being stolen. They are one of the easiest targest there is for terrorists. Their driving has to be perfect. The last thing you want to do is get in an accident while you are towing a bomb behind you!
How many of these morons calling them greedy would want to spend 48 hours a week in charge of a huge mobile bomb? And how much would they want to do it?

Greedy Truckers?
I have just been on the MSN forums, something I do now and again just to remind me how ignorant the average person is.
The people thay are slagging off at the moment are the Shell truck drivers. Because they want a pay rise but already earn £32,000 a year people are saying they are greedy. But what about the company that is refusing to pay them, Shell.
If they were to give the truckers the pay rise they want it would cost them less than an hours profit! This company earns billions, and they earn it because people like the truck drivers do all the hard work.
If Shell were to not only give them more money but reduce their hours to 36 hours a week and employ more drivers to do the extra work and boosting the economy by creating employment then it would cost them two hours profit.
These huge conglomorates like Shell need to start showing some social responsibility and go back to full employment at a decent wage and putting something back into the societies that are giving them their huge profits. The affect on society would be huge and the impact on their profits minimal.
To acuse the truck drivers of being greedy when the company refusing to give them more spends millions a year on acountants to avoid paying taxes back into the country that gives them their profits is beyond belief. To acuse the truckers of being greedy when the company refusing to give them more money earns more per minute than a trucker earns in his lifetime is beyond belief.

The reason guns should be legal.
Saturday morning I had to go to Hampton Court and needed petrol in the car. So off I went to Sainsbury's to get some. Because of people panicking in case it gets short the garage was busier than normal but I didn't have to wait too long and pulled in behind a woman in a new Mini.
She was struggling to get the last drop of fuel she could in the tank and had only just finished when I had put my 30 quids worth in. As we went in to pay she picked up a packet of sweets and when she got to the counter her total bill, including the sweets was £4.13! This stupid moronic waste of space had queued up and spent ages at the pump for less than a gallon of fuel!
Not only should guns be legal but it should be our duty to exterminate people like this whenever we come across them. Because somebody that stupid and that selfish serves no useful purpose whatsover and is just using up resources that could be better used by a normal human being.
