At least somebody knows the meaning of Democracy!

Yesterday London Mayor, Boris Johnson anounced that he is scrapping the Western extension of the congestion charge zone. This tax was introduced by previous Mayor, barmy Ken, despite 85% of people in the area saying that they didn't want it. Boris Johnson did his own consultation and found that the vast majority of people still don't want it so has decided to scrap it.

The left wingers, loony left, greens and other minorities are now all up in arms about this, some even threatening to take legal action to try and stop him scrapping it.

But his decision is right. It doesn't matter what the rights and wrongs of the charge itself are. What matters is that the majority of people do not want it. And as we live in a democracy that is the only thing that matters.

Politicians are there for one reason only, to do what we require of them. Their personal opinions are irrelavant, the wishes of minority groups are irrelevant and the opinions of lunatic green groups are irrelavant.

These people are condeming Boris Johnson when all he is doing is doing the job he was elected to do, represent the people and abide by their wishes. It is called democracy. Which is why it has upset the left wingers so much, because, just like their unelected leader, they don't believe in democracy.

Gormless Gordon is back as well. Adults Only

Gordon Gormless was on the plane with the athletes as well and unfortunately for us our unelected leader survived the journey safely.

He was in China to advise the Chinese on population control. He advised them on the use of CCTV to watch over people and make sure they obeyed all the important laws like not smoking in public or using your mobile phone while driving. He offered extremely useful advice to the Chinese on how to keep the poor in their place and subservient to their lords and masters and invaluable advice on how to milk as much tax as possible out of the poor to avoid taxing the well off and risking upsetting them.

By far the most usefull advice he gave the Chinese was how to reduce the population by letting the elderly freeze to death in the winter, witholding drugs and medicine from the sick and killing people off in filthy hospitals.

Unfortunately he wasn't able to advise the Chinese about democracy because it is a subject he knows nothing about.

The clown in charge of ruining this country, Gormless Gordon wasn't elected. The only people who voted for him were the idiots in his constituency. He also refuses to let us have the referendum on the EU that Billy Liar promised us.

Yet this unelected prat who quite obviously doesn't know the meaning of the word democracy or simply doesn't believe in it is in charge of our troops who are in Afghanistan and Iraq trying to force our brand of democracy on the population there.

Does anybody else find this disgusting?

Today is a perfect example. Adults Only

Today we have a perfect example of just what is wrong with our electoral system. Today our MP's begin the debate on the Lisbon treaty that Gordon Brown signed us up to not so long ago. This is the original EU constitution that was rejected by half of Europe and that we were promised a referendum on.

My first point is fairly obvious. Why is it being debated after Brown has signed it? Why was this not debated before he sneaked in the back door and signed away rights on our behalf?

And where will our unelected leader be when this hugely important debate starts? At the front line defending his decision to sign and supporting this treaty? No actually. He will be in India, scouting out locations for new call centres presumably. If this treaty has his backing and is something he believes in then why did he turn up late for the original signing and why is he not there today?

And this debate and the subsequent vote. Is it a free one where every MP of whatever party gets to vote on what is best for the country? No again. As usual they will be expected to follow party policy and vote for what they have been told to vote for. And make no mistake, the majority of them will. Because for most of these MP's doing what is best for the country comes second to making sure they keep themselves in a cushy well paid job.

In a democracy our MP's would be voting for what is best for us. But we don't live in a democracy anymore so once more we will be sold down the river for the sake of a few political careers.
