As I just explained prisoners have taken up heroin rather than marijuana because of the drug tests in prison. The same is also happening in our schools. The introduction of drugs tests for school children has already turned some children from marijuana onto much harder more dangerous drugs.
Rather than these knee jerk reactions to the drugs problem which only serve to make the situation worse we need a proper debate on drugs and drug laws. Unfortunately though this will never happen all the time our politicians main priority is lining their pockets and our press continue to put sensational headlines above the good of the nation.
In the meantime drug dealers get richer and our children suffer. What a country!
