Well, as I guess you all know, the Iranians have taken some hostages and our weak willed government is just sitting around hoping that if they talk nicely to them they will give them back. Why?
They are about to spend fortunes on something to replace Trident but we don't know if it even worked. So why not try it out? Give them a choice. Release them or we will hit one of their cities. Not only will it send these madmen a serious message but also if it turrns out the missiles don't work we can get our money back.
But it also begs another question. There were 14 men and one woman in that boat. Which one was reading the map?
