If we go to Corfu and if we get a boat I am going to insist on life jackets. I know normal people would do that anyway but we are not talking about normal people! We are talking about myself, Piotr and Peter!
We used to go out in a tiny little speedboat at Studland bay, right out to where the ferries were so we could ride their wake and the beach was on the distant horizen. Without life jackets!
And it was a little boat! We could so easily have been turned over by the waves that far out. But we were younger and fitter and both good swimmers. we probably could have survived. Now we would drown, it's that simple. So this time life jackets will be a must!
