My second policy.

Avon fire brigade last week held recruitment days to try and get more people to train as firemen. There is nothing wrong with that. It is a good idea. Apart from one thing. White English men were not allowed to attend! It was for ethnic minorities and women only!

Surely this is illegal? I can hear you all asking. Well no actually it is not. It is illegal to discriminate against blacks, asians, eastern europeans, the elderly, the disabled, muslims, women and any other racial or diverse group you can think of.

But when it comes to white English men then discrimination is not only legal it is actively encouraged. It is a total disgrace.

The problem with all anti discrimination legislation and in particular so called positive discrimination is that the law ends up discriminating against the majority. Why should it be illegal to defame islam but not Christianity? Why do we have to have quota's for the number of minorities companies employ? What does it matter what colour or sex a fireman is provided the job gets done?

Do these quota's work both ways? If there are too many minorities in a job do whites then get priority? Of course they don't! Just look at the amount of blacks playing football. According to the positive discrimination advocates because 10% of the population is from an ethnic minority then 10% of people in every job should be from an ethnic minority. Yet in football it's nearer 40%. So why aren't these same people suggesting that more white kids be encouraged to play football and why aren't quota's being imposed?

The only way to rectify the situation and make sure that the white majority population are not discriminated against is to change the law so that it is illegal to discriminate against whites, the English and men.

So that will be my next policy. Because a society that allows discrimination against a large part of it's population just to satisfy minority groups can never be considered a true democracy.
