Yes, childrens favourite Basil Brush has been acused of racism after making jokes about Gypsys!
Joseph Jones, vice-chairman of the Southern England Romany, Gypsy And Irish Traveller Network compared the programme to the Black And White Minstrel Show.
He told the Mail on Sunday: "This sort of thing happens quite regularly and we are fed up with making complaints about stereotypical comments about us in words that we find racist or offensive.
"Racist abuse of black people is quite rightly no longer deemed acceptable, but when a comedian makes a joke on TV about pikeys or gypos, there's no comeback."
Well Mr Jones there is a simple solution!
Why not stop your members from illegaly invading other peoples property whenever they feel like it? Or maybe suggest that they get a job and work for a living rather than thieving off of the rest of us. Then they can try paying taxes, cut out the violence, stop turning beauty spots into rubbish tips and generally become part of civillised society instead of living just how they want without giving a damn about anybody else.
Maybe then people will stop condemning them or taking the piss out of them.

If this bunch of scumbags like to travel why not go to iraq,iran or afghanistan.and while on the way the romanys can get off in roumania where they came from.
