Because Peter no longer gets SSP he has to have income support. This is done through his local job centre at Twickenham, whose postal address is in Croydon. So any letters he sends are picked up from the post box, taken to Twickenham sorting office, next door to the job centre, then sent to Croydon, put into a van and sent back to Twickenham.

When he sends in his sick certificate he has to send it to Wandsworth and Lambeth job centre, whose postal address is in Preston!

So it gets picked up from the post box, taken to Twickenham sorting office, sent to Preston then returned to Wandsworth before being sent to Croydon and sent back to Twickenham.

And I am not winding you up. That is the gods honest truth.
