Talking of being ashamed anybody who voted Liberal should hang their heads after their performance this week. In their Election campaign they promised to let us have a referendum on the EU, just like the New Taxes party did. But when it came to the vote and the chance to deliver what they promised what did they do?
Nothing. Absolutely nothing. They were ordered by the party to abstain.
Why was this? Do the promises they made the voters mean nothing? We expect that from Labour because they are socialists and socialism is all about lies and dictatorship. But from the Liberals?
By abstaining they effectively stopped the referendum in it's tracks and at the same time proved that they have no coherent policies, no opinions and no respect whatsoever for the British public.
